Dawat brown rice is one of the best quality rice I have used in years. It’s about 8 years I’ve been using this brand. The flavour is super, it cooks so well ( fluffy) and tastes awesome. There is a way to cook this rice to perfection. Tip : soak the rice in luke warm water for an hour before you transfer it into a pressure cooker with a 1:2.5 ratio ( 1 cup rice: 2.5 water) add a little salt and 1/2 tsp of oil. Close the lid and cook for 3 whistles on medium low flame let it sit and when cool open the lid to find the best cooked brown rice ever.Warning : the ratio of water might differ due to the water quality too. I use bore well water hence 2.5 you might want to try with 2 cups if you use normal tap water. Hope this helps. It takes few mins in the cooker and serves your appetite well, Thank you.
