I purchased a new Sujata Room Heater and fortunately I received a well finished product. I cannot comment about other’s units, but the one I got is working properly as of now. For the present time, I am satisfied with its performance. After one year of usage, I will share an updated review about its long term performance. For now, I can recommend this heater without worry.The switch is working properly and allows control of the heater rods. For 400 watts, and 800 watts, separately, there are options 1 and 2 provided to switch on either one rod or both heater rods together. The switching mechanism is smooth and clear.One drawback I noticed is that there is no handle to lift or carry the heater. Because of this, both hands must be dedicated to hold it properly. A single hand grip handle would have been very useful and is clearly needed for comfortable handling. It can give good heat, but true comfort comes when small human needs are also respected.
