12 inches is a bit too long
Deducted some marks for reduced maneuverability. Did not understand this when I ordered the product. It is too long and so very hard to do delicate work like turn over the items in the air fryer basket.It is very sturdy and the grip at the front (red coloured) is made of hard plastic like material. So for delicate items like soft french fries break easily if I try to pick it up using this tong. But for big hard items like Chicken breast roast or tikka kabab pieces, it is very useful.
