Pulav rice, fragile and difficult to cook to perfection
This is same quality as Daawat Pulav basmati (orangish pack) medium long grains, and narrow, and breaks when 90% done.This is not suitable for biryani (since the dish needs to be put into dum with chicken that contains juice or milk or curd) .Again if u under cook it say the grains are still lil hard (stiff) then it stays undercooked in dum when making biryani.This is suitable for pulav, no aroma as such.Daawat used to offer the pulav basmati for 99 also at initial launch days like 2 years ago or so. Now it’s price is usually more, and this is cheap and good quality but you have to cook it very carefully and use chicken or any juice/milk very less when putting in dum or this will get gooey texture and most grains will break. Nevertheless , steal deal for the price.
