On Point and easy to understand learnings.
This book gives you in a clear and concise way, the steps to avoid procrastination in your life. What I liked about this book is, it was an on point one and a short read as it helps you navigate through the important learnings. We don’t have long and stretched out prose for no reason, what is needed – the straight approach and Action Plan along with, “The Whys” and the “What’s” are given in a simple way to follow and increase our productivity.I really liked how quickly you could go through this book but with clear instructions to follow that were easy to understand and I’m looking forward to inculcating them in my routine.

Motivating and Practical, Though a Bit Rushed
This book is a motivating read that pushes you to break free from procrastination and take control of your life. The structured 7-day plan is practical and easy to follow, with clear steps and exercises that make you reflect and actually act. I liked how the author blends encouragement with actionable advice, so you feel guided instead of just inspired. That said, the book can feel a bit rushed at times. Some sections move quickly through important concepts that could have used more depth or real-life examples. If you’re someone who likes detailed explanations or gradual changes, you may feel the pace is too fast.Still, the strength of this book is in its simplicity and urgency — it doesn’t waste time, and it gets you moving. I found myself applying small changes immediately, which is exactly what the book promises.Overall, it’s a practical, no-nonsense guide that works well for those who want quick results and a clear structure. With a bit more depth, it could have been truly exceptional.

    Not for everyone
The thing that we believe will work never does. The purchase of the book “Immediate Action” was a good decision, but the thought of keeping it would be a bad one. (For me, may not be for you)The major problem with self-help books is that the authors are very good at narrative manipulation. They understand the power of words very well. The books give you knowledge but most of them which you already possess. As the majority of the purchasers, I assume, had already tried multiple times to overpower the disease of procrastination, it can also be assumed that many of us have learned many things from the tries, the book just reminds you of that.I did purchase the book with the hope of wisdom and hope, but unfortunately, I found nothing new. The shining side of the book is that the cover and the inside do justify each other, as the author does try to push you towards the cure.It still did well for me, as it reminded me that procrastination is very much the fundamental obstacle that you need to pass through. The remainder did fire me with motivation; the possibility of this being an illusion is there, but it can be considered. The book is not for everyone for sure, especially for the one who has been married with procrastination for a very long time. It’s for those who are newly married and wishing to file a divorce. Here are the key reminders I received:-1- essential to writing every task down ( gives clarity)2- doing your very best each day to complete your written task3- your future self is the weakest form of you because it’s been crafted by the individual who just can’t divorce.4- multitasking=overstimulation=less focus5-consistency is the key

  9. Fam Lutz

I enjoyed reading this book, and used the exercises over seven days to get back to track with some unfinished work. And it did work out. The pieces of advice were nothing new, as such. However, the fact that getting distracted is so easy, it was good to read this short book and get reminded of it. As result I finished an assignment I wanted to finish already for a couple of months ago. I also reactivated the screen time tracking on my phone..
