    Displayed product is different
You don’t get the sane design kurta which is displayed on its product listing.

I got this shirt to wear as a casual top with jeans or other casual pants. The design is nice and looks modern with a taste of traditional. The length is perfect in both the arms and sits right below the waist. The buttons are positioned so you have flexibility in your look. I keep the top most button, unbuttoned. It’s slightly tighter than I’d like when I button the top one, but it’s not terrible. The fabric is soft, but the collar is slightly rough. However, it’s a very thin material and it’s basically see through. I usually put a T-shirt on underneath anyways but it’s pretty thin. For this price point, I’d expect a bit more heft to it. It’s not a good value in my opinion.Overall it looks good, but needs to be priced better.

I have only seen these in movies and television shows. Once I received it and saw it, I was astounded by just how nice it looks in person. It is 100% Cotton. Feels great. Very comfortable and easy to move in. Light weight. Suitable to wear any day or night.

I approached this new shirt idea that caught my attention based on my first positive experience with the Sojanya brand. My first experience with their clothing design was in the form of a modern yet traditional fitting format. I have been wearing kurtas and dashikis for a long time now, however the short form of one of those styles I was not aware existed. More so, I had not paid attention to the small details that indicate a short form. For the purpose of this review, I am referring to what looks like a shorter version of the kurtas I am familiar with.I found this idea something I wanted to try out, based on not understanding why it would exist, due to the longer version being having such a signature look with the long way it is almost a complete outfit. This being the total opposite it actually did not take long to figure out the purpose. The basic similarity is still there when compared to the full-sized variations I own. This even has the small pocket that I view as more of a decoration, but it still works just fine for small items. I prefer not to use it because it will make the side protrude out a bit and cause a fashion disruption. Then again if you place something like a credit card in there, it can be useful and not cause that visual equilibrium mess up that a small pocket filled up can cause.I like how the front has decorative metal buttons. They are not circular but more of a rectangular shaped which ass a small bit of character to a dominant white shirt.M y favorite thing about this is the intricate patterns that cover the entire shirt. This is semitransparent, which when mixed with then patters looks more like some sort of tribute to lace designs. The repeating patters is very cool because it looks similar to a DNA strand that has been turned into a massive ongoing strand. The main deviation to this strand like pattern is a three petaled branch or plant that seems to be emitting out of the side. This whole shirt could then be a positive symbol for life with the sprout of life from the three-pointed sprout then connected to a continuous helix like strand that flows around the shirt in a way that mimics wave propagation.I chose the 38 size which arrived as a medium. This was a bit small but not too small. I wanted a slim fitting thing however I should have chosen a 39 if it was available. That is no big deal and I know I will be wearing this often.

Does not look like the picture. Material is very thin and is not attractive.

I ordered this shirt in white for casual use, but my experience was disappointing on several levels. I requested a 2X large size but received a medium instead. Even if the size had been correct, I still would not have liked this shirt. The material is much stiffer than expected, giving it an almost plastic feel instead of the soft cotton texture I associate with kurtas. Although the unique small holes in the shirt add an interesting look, I believe they contribute to the stiffness, and I would prefer comfort over style. The quality of workmanship is good, with neatly sewn seams. The buttons are securely attached, and the buttonholes are correctly aligned. Even after my wife washed this shirt in the washing machine on the medium setting and dried it on the medium setting in the dryer, the stiffness in the material remained unchanged. It tolerated washing and drying without changing in size or color. The product description, color, and images are accurate, and the shirt arrived within two days without any issues. Given the problems I encountered with this order, I would not get this shirt again.
