No they are not ‘pajamas’. This top and bottom is for daily casual wear.Something to be comfortable in and look good at the same time.Normally, I would just wear a t shirt and shorts…but this is far better after I got used to it.I ordered a large, and it fits, but right on the edge of not fitting. Perhaps order one size bigger than you think would be my advice.But other than that, the material is comfortable and just as importantly it breathes. Hold it up to any light and you can see through it.What sets this apart is the embroidery. I’m a guy so sometimes I just don’t know. Best thing to do is ask the boss (wife). I put it on the first time and showed it to her. Her first words were…’that looks gorgeous…where did you get it?’Believe me, she has better taste than I do…and I ordered it without her knowledge.The pants are billowy and also very comfortable and just made for the heat. I can wear this all day long around the house and for walks.Really enjoying this.
