This kurta is a unique truly dark wine color that is contrasted with the bright shimmery silver colored stitching throughout. There is no collar embroidery, however this is offset by the inclusion of intricate brass-like buttons. It looks so nice in person! The fabric seems like it is pretty good quality, and it is comfortable to wear (unlike some of those itchy kurtas).

I am a 200 pound American man, and i’ve always loved the style of these types of clothes, and I’m surprisingly impressed with this type of shirt. It is very comfortable, almost like silky material, and the large fits great on me. I have to work up my confidence to wear this in public, but for a lounging outfit I really do enjoy it. The only reason for the -1 star is because there were a lot of loose strings and stuff hanging from it when i got it, but I just snipped them with scissors and the seams haven’t come out so I’m still very happy!

It looked good in the packaging until I opened it and unfolded it. There were many loose threads from the buttons to the intricate threading on the outside, sadly one of them was in the front and very noticeable. This does run small. The fabric wasnt as comfortable as I was expecting. The quality could be much better if the garments were looked at better. Not a great value for about $60. I like the design but do to the flaws it detracted a lot.

I use kurtas quite often as part of my garb for Medieval recreations, as they are very close to what was worn across many cultures during those historical periods and cultures. This one is quite attractive and well made, and comes with white “pyjamas”, or what we call trews, to be worn under the kurta. I suspect mine will be dyed as I don’t do white ( certainly not for long, as I am a klutz). The fabric is a sturdy but elegant silk cotton blend, and it is well and properly stitched. Attractive and a good value.

The appearance of the fabric is excellent; handsome pattern with plenty of texture and just a hint of sparkle, and there are two fairly usable slit pockets. The listing claims it to be 70% silk and 30% cotton; however, it is scratchy and, despite being nearly thin enough to see through, hot. Not comfortable. This kurta runs very. very small. Per the sizing chart, I ordered an XL, although I normally wear a L, and it is way too tight everywhere to even consider wearing. There were A LOT of dangling threads as well. If you are very thin, this might be for you, but if you have a dad bod, look elsewhere. I expected more at this price.
